Two existing applications, one coordinated move

The Aldanah Tour engagement involved moving an online store and booking application to a new environment, accounting for their separate runtime requirements and data.

What was already there?

A WordPress and WooCommerce store, and a Laravel flight-booking application on a subdomain. The work focused on migration and operation, not developing their original features.

What Paymentery handled

Moving files and both databases, configuring PHP, file ownership and permissions for each application, and preparing the new environment to run them together.

Different stacks require separate checks. An environment that works for one application does not establish that the other is operating correctly.

How the move was reviewed

The applications’ functions were reviewed on the destination environment before relying on it, with attention to data connections, permissions and functions affected by the change.

Migration also requires handling data changes during the move; that step is determined by system use and the cutover window.

Result and attribution

The store and booking application moved to the new infrastructure with operating configuration and backups under the operational arrangement. The work demonstrates handling different systems within one migration.

The contribution attributed to Paymentery is migration and configuration, not authorship of the original store or booking application.

Need to move several connected systems?

Send the related websites and applications, their current location and any cutover deadline. Assessment starts with dependencies and data before migration is priced.
